I have aIntel Board DQ45CB . The Machine Restarts intermittely . It happend with all OS . System Event Lists unexpected failure Error Code : D@01010004

The "fuinny" side of an "unexpected event" is that 'ts some unexpected failure. No way to tell wht it is becuae it is unexpected.
Maybe might understand better the problem if you could describe WHAT HAPPENED

There can be any number of reasons why this would happen.

• Overheating. Slow performance and intermittent restarts can be caused by heat.
• Corrupted operating system.
• Faulty software
• Hardware failure such as memory failures.
• Incomplete or corrupted operating system update.

Just to mention a few! Take a look in the administrative log files to see if windows has managed to write an error before it failed. instructions are here;

Hi,
This could happen when the RAM contact is not proper, may be due to dust. Remove the memory modules from DIMM slot, clean it (no moisture please) and reinsert it. This could mostly solve your issue.

Without knowing what motherboard is in the unit - it will be difficult to determine what the 4 beeps means.

Generally, 4 beeps means issues with :

- memory
- video card
- keyboard
- motherboard failure

Things to try -

- make sure there is no keys stuck down
- remove the battery and AC adapter, remove and re-install the memory sticks (reseating the memory)

If this does not work, your problem may be more serious. Let us know the results of the above suggestions.
