Lg gas dryer something burning

burning smells in driers can be sometimes from a blocked lint filter. The dried lint has been known to ignite when it gets hot. If you haven't cleaned the lint filter then do so and if the smell continues get it serviced.

Drier is running hot, smells like my clothes are burning, and it keeps blowing the fuse in the main panel.

Most probably a venting problem and probably caused the heating element to ground out in its casing. Easiest way to verify is turn your timer to 30min and if dryer starts heating without pushing the start button you got a bad element caused by bad venting most of the time.

The coffe grinder smell burn after usage. Is there a way to clean it.

You should check you manual for directions as to how to take the machine apart to clean it because it needs regular cleaning. Since you have not cleaned it in a while, the beans are probably getting super hot and burning inside the grinder because of friction. Also, this particular machine operates best with a drier (less oily)coffee bean... think Italian expresso beans. These drier beans should work better with this machine.

My drier smells like a animal has died when heated up.

You will have to diss-assemble the dryer to look for the cause. I have run into that problem before, and found that a mouse electricuted himself by contacting the exposed wire terminals on the motor. When the motor warmed up, the dead animal smell was there. There are a lot of areas where a mouse could come in contact with live voltage and end up dead on an area which heats up, like near the heating element.

Replacing AC compressor

its not easy, you have to recover freon, then braze in new comp if old one burned out you need to not only replace liquid line drier but also suction line. if it is a burn out that means you had a brown out or it is grounded. you can tell because the smell is very potent. if its not a burn out make sure to replace liquid line drier and pull into good vacuum. just make sure it is worth it also if the unit is over ten years old replace condensor.
one problem i do not know where you live but if the system is R-22 you may have trouble getting new compressor good luck if you have any question let me know

I can run my drier but after a few minutes it begins to smell of burnt wires

I put my drier all back together and will run it until it quits; that way I will be able to find the problem. I am just ahead of myself. I think now that it is the element burning out and it will eventually burn right out; then I'll replace it.

Thanks.

KENMORE DRYER

the only thing that can burn in a drier is lint most of the time if lints building up in a drier depending on age its because of poor venting if the drier heats but it takes longer than an hour to dry clothes you have a vent restriction but every few years you should take it appart and clean it out now kenmores drums run on rubber wheels and like a car they get flat spots in them so they roar and bump when they first start but should get quiter as you run more loads during the day
