You will need to locate the mother board drivers and install them you should have a motherboard CD if you purchased the computer from new.if not you will need to find the make and model of your laptop or desk top motherboard and then go to the manufactures web site and down load the relevant drivers

select DRIVERS in select download type.
then download the sound drivers. and install.

I need a sound device for my newly formated pc; Its Microsoft windows XP Professional & im from Philippines...


If you are planning to get a sound device hardware like a PCI card you can choose CMI8738 audio PCI Audio Device may suffice your needs.

If built in on your motherboard use your motherboard installer or manually go to sound device folder to install the driver.

If you don't have the motherboard installer, try its manufacturer's site then choose the exact model number and version, to get the right driver.

this is due to absence of sound driver in ur pc.....
install appropiate sound driver and then play ur songs...

No sound


Actually the problem is incorrect installation of Drivers.........so firstly uninstall the drivers from ur CONTROL PANEL and re-install it once again...........if the problem is same, then re-install the XP operating system sp2 with different CD serial and then drivers.....
CAUTION: see thst there is no virus exists in ur HARD DISK.......

Ensure you have the drivers for the sound card you are installing. using the C/Panel-system, uninstall the card and then Action/scan for devices and install the drivers.
