I own a 1990 cbr600f hurricane that i inherited when my uncle passed away. i had an accident on it and the front framing is twisted. mechanics say its a write-off. but is it fixable? i really am dying to hold onto this bike as it is the last thing i have to remember my uncle by, please help me!

When the frame is twisted on a bike its not a good thing to fix. It can be done though, if it holds that much sentimental value to you then you have to find the right person to do it and make sure it is done right. It is not adviseable, but maybe get it fixed and don't ride it. It throws the alignment off and it will probably not be the same no matter what, sorry to give you bad news, but it's also for your safety.
