I plug it in to my computer on rhapsody and it wont let me see all me music......it looks like my kids deletedsomething. because the music is on there and i can listen to it . and i can add music but i cant delete the old music
I uploaded songs onto my Sansa sandisk m240 1.0GB and the song played for a while now the device is frozen. It doesn't power down properly and when I connect it to the USB post on my laptop it does not recognize it anymore. Nothing comes up.
I had this same problem. What I ended up doing was going into My Computer into the device itself and seeing what showed up. It appears a few new songs I popped on there the day after were appearing but nothing else. I deleted all the files, unplugged it from the computer and let the library update, old songs were still playing. Plugged it back into the machine and voila they showed up.

The e200 series players have 2 versions, plus a Rhapsody version.
How to check your version:
On the player
1. Go to the Main Menu
2. Select Settings
3. Select Info
4. Check the firmware version, if it says v1 it is a version 1
( or Rhapsody
Rhapsody also supports Rhapsody service and channels
USB mode is Rhapsody/PlaysForSure instead of MSC/MTP for
the normal v1
Rhapsody fonts are smooth, antialiased ) v3 it is a version 2
Having a version 2 player, songs can be deleted on the player itself:
1. In playback mode, press submenu.
2. Select the Delete Song item.
For all versions you can delete songs:
1. Making a connection to a computer first.
2. Use the Windows explorer on the computer:
Select "My Computer" on the desktop and go to the internal memory or expansion card of the e250:
Go into the MUSIC folder. Select your songs inside the MUSIC folder and select delete.
If you're checking that its empty in your rhapsody program, you might want to click on My Computer and then click on your Sansa mp3 player and then go into music files and delete everything. If u want to delete everything, including videos and pictures, you can go into your rhapsody account, plug in your mp3 player and right click, scroll down and click on "format" this will hopefully delete everything on your mp3 player...if u don't apply to any of these, well....sorry i don't know how to help.
