Unfortunately, there is no way this can be done. the phone fills up the SIM memory,only then it goes to phone SMS memory. But as a solution you can transfer msgs from Phone memory to SIM memory
Sorry Dear! You cant move your phone msgs to memory card.But If you selected msg memory as Memory card then the msgs get saved in Memory card automatically. For that go to Menu>Messages>option>Setting>other>msg memory.... change it to memory card, Thats it.
Delete all file incoming msg, draft, or save msg, during Bluetooth image of file transferring. Phone memory full already, better save incoming msg or receive file through Bluetooth to your memory card, don't save on memory phone.
Open messaging, go to Options, then Settings, the select "Other". In
other scroll to Memory in use. Here, click options and select change.
It will ask store messages to

After selecting Memory card,
It will ask "Copy all messages to the new message memory?" Choose

To add or delete a folder, select Menu > Messages > Saved items > Text messages, and My folders. To delete a
folder, scroll to the folder, select Options > Delete folder.
