SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Will my garmin approach s1 work in New Zealand. It was purchased in Canada?

The GPS will work anywhere in the world but you have to have New Zealand courses installed. There are NZ courses available:

...but not owning an "Approach" GPS, I cannot advise on obtaining and uploading the required data to this piece of kit.

The turbo wand and nozzle connection on my Pressure washer Model 580.752070 How to restore seal between Wand and nozzle? Please point me in the right direction to resolve this problem

the seal is normally a "O" ring that is available from a good hardware shop or bearing supply shop
basically the same set up as your garden hose "O" ring but with a pressure wand there is a thread nut to hold the bits together.
If it is not that then the threaded section of the connection in the wand or hose mat be loose or broken at the thread

Motor starts and pump is not working. No water is flowing at all..what do i need to do?

Water is supposed to flow slightly through the pump without it running so disassemble the wand and cut on water supply, see if water comes out of the wand on-off handle. The motor does not have to be running. Got water flowing? YES - clean out the wand filter or nozzle hole. A partially clogged filter will prevent hi pressure activation.
NO? disassemble pump and clean out chamber paths.

Also - A pressure pump is not suppose to be running and not used for over ten minutes. The pump can overheat from lack of water passing through and damage the pump seals. A clogged wand is the same as not using it while you try to figger out why it doesn't have high pressure. I found my clogged filter and stopped up nozzle but haven't gotten my real high pressure back yet. Sears doesn't sell the valve seal kit but someone does.

I have a Breville ESP6 Espresso Machine which needs a new steamer wand. The seal on the screw in part at end has gone and the thread is gone too. Water spurts out between the wand and the screw in knob -...

The wand is relatively easy to remove. Thing is whether you have the right tools. If you can find stubby phillips and flat screw drivers, the job will be much easier.

You first have to remove the trim that surrounds the pod and where it covers part of the wand.

The wand is held down by a flat-headed short screw. It might take a few tries to remove this screw due to calcification over the years. Once removed, the wand should just slight out. Check if the o-rings need to be replaced as well.

F&P Intuitive WM. Needs Bearings and seals replaced

Hello you can get the parts from any New Zealand F & P service center( $50-80nz). You need a special F & P tool kit (you can buy for around $100nz from F & P also) to remove the seal and bearings and to insert the new. unless you know an appliance tech or have a service manual it could be a tricky one. cheers

Water leakage- V'spresso machine

I had the same problem. The water was coming from the front door switch inside top right. I followed the water and turns out the part that needed to be replaced was the steam valve body. #48. http://www.shop.partsguru.com/images/1208344975339-771025787.jpeg and link http://www.shop.partsguru.com/images/1208344975339-771025787.jpeg after I changed it the pool of water under the machine stopped. I hope this helps.
