Please i want to retrieve my password and my username

Just to help in the future. Get yourself a little note book and write all your pass words and information down and keep it in a drawer out of site. When you change a password cross the old one out and put the new one in. Sure saves a lot of head aches if you lose your information.

If you forgot both the username as well as the password then its difficult to retrieve them

However, you should check the mailbox whose ID you've given during the registration. The mail from that particular site maybe having the username.

You can use that username and then retrieve that password from the "Forgot password" section in that website.

The default username and password are admin and admin. However, if you have changed, and you don't remember the username and password it can't be retrieved.
You need to reset the router. The procedure to reset:
There will be a small hole that takes about a paper clip wide probe. And press for 10 seconds while powered up. This will do a reset your router to factory.
Then username and password will be default admin and admin. Then you can access through 198.16.1.1 on the browser.

Generally, you can not retrieve a lost password from a router. You will likely be able to RESET the router to factory condition by pressing / pressing & holding a reset button on the router itself.

You should check the router documentation or manufacturer's web page to see exactly how a reset is done on your particular model router, and learn what the default username and password combination is once reset.

From what i remember the username is Admin/admin Administrator/administrator, the password field leave blank or if it requires one it will password or Password.

Try using the following default user name & password:
Username : admin
Password : hagpolm1

maybe you enter wrong password or username.. click forgot password or forgot userid, then follow the instructions to retrieve your account password and username/userid
