Im looking at buying an LG fridge with the double doors and freezer on the bottom. It also has the ice machine and water hook ups but it needs a gas refill how much will that cost?

I wouldn't buy any modern fridge that needs a gas refill. Needing a refill means that it has a leak. Modern fridges are 'sealed unit' compressors and should NEVER leak. If they do then there is a leak, often in the evaporator coils inside the fridge and commonly between the copper to aluminium joins. These leaks would need to be repaired however most piping is not easily accessible. Cost may be $100 to $300 for re-gas plus repair $$$ and unless the leak was located and repaired then you will be re-gassing again in days, weeks or months.
LEAK needs FIX LEAK and re-gas.

LG electrocool fridge - serial no. 407KRXD00074; the frost free freezer has a huge ice build up, please assist. im also trying to find the manual book for the fridge.

Please check the link :

If there is no cooling at all on the fridge section but the freezer works then it is confirmed that the compressor and gas pressure is OK. Now shut off the fridge and leave it powered off while you clean and check the evaporator for frost. If frost is seen it is a good indication as the compressor is working with sufficient gas within.
Now after about 6 hours plug in the fridge to start. Observe cooling to happen in about one hour and ice to from under three hours.
Earlier make sure that the thermostat was set to normal mode for freezer and fridge.
However if ice forms in the freezer then observe the fridge for about 24 hours for cooling to continue and the fridge to cut off . If not the auto defrost timer, or the thermostat must be checked. Frost formation without defrosting could block the air flow and so shut the air passage to the fridge. Also the blower fan must work and if this is not working then the fan can be faulty. Also a fault on the control unit is a suspect to non functioning of any one of these components.
If defrost timer works but frost keeps forming check while the compressor shuts if the heaters are working, check continuity of the heaters.
So try this test using a multi-meter on the defrost timer and the thermostat and make your observations so that we come to the solution.

Mark I Series fridge not freezing

Please list the complete model number found inside the refrigerator on on the door frame. With the model number I will be able to help you better. If your refrigerator is an older model then with what you described could possibly be a defrost timer gone bad. Let me know what you find, Thanks,Sea Breeze

Your issue is;
"my subzero fridge is not cooling like it should. milk will sour in about 2 days. Im trying to find a list of dealers in the Brewton, Alabama area. Im having a hard time finding someone to do a service call, thanks, Daniel"

Before contacting a servicer, you may want to check on a few simple things first.
1. Are all doors closed and sealed tightly all the way around?
2. Are the cold controls properly set or adjusted high enough?
3. Is the condensor coil clean?
4.Frost build up in freezer on the back wall. This issue would be a defrost cycle problem and may require a technician.
