SOURCE: Remove cover
Its a snap together job But unless you know where to start something will snap. Try the Samsung Tech support for this product. Even if the Back light or inverter or some other do able thing is doable- getting parts may not be so easy for you. So follow their advice for service.

Since your monitor is recieving data I would look at your computer hardware for the solution. Did you recently add a program to your computer? Or change a BIOS setting ? Did you have problems with your hard drive?

remove two screws on lowerback of the monitor. Loosen the case at the botton and on the top. Two holes will appear on the top. With thin screwdriver push down inserting the screwdriver into this notch. This will release the case. Tks

to remove the back cover of samtron 56 v monitor is very simple.
locate the 2 bottom screws of the cover, remove them. pull slightly back the cover holding the bottom and about half an inch gap will be seen. insert a flat screw driver straight down through the upper side hole with your left hand and hit the head of the screw driver with your right hand. a slightly big sound is heard and that side is disengaed. repeat he same with the second hole. and you have done it. try.
