One get a police report (lost) and secondly call the carrier (tell the rep you need to suspend your account as of ...... or else you will be responsible for calls /data usages and the bill that comes with it...

I want to block my cellphone bec. it has been lost.

if your phone is a postpaid plan just contact your network service provider and tell him that your phone is lost and you want to block it then they block it..But if you using a prepaid plan then there's the problem unless your phone serial and model is insured and registered to your country's telecommunications department then it can be blocked just doing the same thing call your country's telecommunications department and report the lost of your phone and asked them to block it..But if its not registered or insured the only thing for your phone not to be used by the person who got the phone is if you put a security code on your phone. Hope it will help you

Can i unblock my blackberry once its been reported stolen?

Yes you can block it if the serial # and your phone is registered at the Telecommunications department of your country here in the Philippines, Cellphone owners specially the rich person registered their cellphone to the NTC(National telecommunications company) were if ever their cellphone was lost or stolen they can immediately call the NTC to request to block their cellphones...This is the reason why a lot of cellphone owners assigned a security code for their cellphone so in case it was lost or stolen the person who will use the cellphone need to unlock the phone for them to be able to use it...

Report the phone to your cellular provider. They will block the sim and guide you to block your phone set as well. This varies from country to country.

where is your country? try to search for your Government Telecommunication Agency... here in phillipines it's called NTC or national Telecommunication Commission there you can report your stolen mobile phone just present the box of the phone and the box shoud have the imei code of your cell phone.. and then the agency will block it in all Telecommunication networks on your country... that's how it works in our country...

I bought a nokia 6303 in january+2weeks later it had been blocked! wen i rang up vodafone, they z that it had been reported as lost or stolen and they'd had a block put on it. but i bought it from a second...

you can go to a technician to patch the serial no.. you had been blocked by the use of serial no.. so even what sim card you put you may not have signaL... if you will go to a technician it is useLess yes they may patch the serial no.. they will change it into another serial no... so ntc will not be able to detect you but some effects will happen to your cellphone.. Like auto - shut off.. which will make your phone turns off it self for every 5-10 minutes... that's the effect of changing serial no of your phone.. so it's up to you if you will let them patched it or not hope it heLps:) don't forget to rate.. thanks

Lost my N73 mobile

Hi,

Some recommendations,

1. You'll need a GPS device on the phone and that will only help, all that you can do now is the Report the phone stolen and give the IMEI number to Nokia and they will block it!
2. Having done that report the loss to the local administration & produce the FIR report to all the service providers so that if that phone is used again, can be traced & you get the culprit hanged !!!
Please let us know if that was helpful enough.
Good Luck & Thanks,
Shiv.

I want to block my lost mobile

Go to your nearest Network Service Provider. They can help you or give you information on how to do it.

Here in Philippines we just need a police report then submit it to National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).

What if u found a phone that has been reported lost how can you connect it

Your question is what if I found a phone that was reported lost...I would return it. That is why Verizon put's measures in place to block accounts from allowing people to activate phones that have been reported lost or stolen. Put yourself in the place of the person that rightfully purchased the phone and has either misplaced the phone or had it stolen. Would you want someone to return the phone or would you want them to try to work around the system to try to activate the phone that they already know is lost or stolen. By knowing the phone is lost and having the ability to return it and purposely not doing so, you are stealing the phone. Since Verizon has the MEID number on the back of the phone, they can return it to the rightful owner if you give it to them. If it were me, I would give it to Verizon and do the right thing.

Lost nokia phone

Things to do:

1. Report that to a police station near you.
2. Go to a Telecommunication Company where your SIM card is based from and report the incident.
3. Lastly, go to the National Telecommunication Department and have the phone blocked or maybe they can locate it "too high-tech enough"

- If the new holder is not honest, you'll no longer gonna see that cellphone again.

Good luck!!!
