Check the type of connection - are you using a USB connection or a Wireless connection?
- If USB, turn off the printer. - remove the power cable at the back of the printer, then remove the cable to the wall outlet. Wait for 10 sec. then reconnect all cables. - turn on the printer and check if the computer detects the printer. - If not, try to remove the USB cable at the back of the printer and computer. Wait for 5sec. reconnect the cable back. Try other USB port if not detected. - If still not detected try to use another working USB cable. - If replacing the cable did not resolve the issue, try to install the driver of the printer.
- If wireless connection try to check if the printer is connected to your router. Run the Wireless Setup Wizard in the front panel of the printer. Select the name of your router. - Download the Network Diagnostic Utility on the HP.com website to check what is causing the issue. It will give you the instruction on how to resolve the problem.

I have done this. The computer detects the printer but it stays in pause mode and won't leave it no matter what I do. If I put the camera in dock I can print the pictures, but anything on the computer won't print. It just stays in que and pause mode. I can't even cancel them. It is a HP Photosmart A430.

Why does my canon mg5420 say "printer not responding"

Whenever I hear of a "not responding" problem in the same sentence as "Wi-Fi" I question the wireless connection. I'm sure you've done the tests, but just to go over them; Is the printer working - can you get a test print out of it locally (setup)? Is the computer actually "talking" to the printer (Check network settings and local connections)? And, can you connect directly to the printer using a USB lead - and get a print? I would be tempted to tell the computer to find a new printer, in order to double check.

When I click on print from my computer, my printer doesn't respond. I removed my Lexmark to try another model and it didn't perform as well, so I unplugged it and removed it from my computer...

You may need to uninstall your existing Lexmark driver from your computer. Follow the steps in this article on How to Uninstall Lexmark Printers. Reboot your computer when prompted. To reinstall, click this link Lexmark P4350 Drivers to download the driver from the Lexmark website. Hope this helps. Thanks.

My canon MP610 printer is not responding after replacing ink

Try switch of computer and printer if not in printer list of printers. Unplug usb cable and start computer without computer connected. Them switch off computer again and plug in usb cable and then restart and after started switch on printer and Windows should find printer as a new connection and then you may need your driver disc to reset up.
