Question about HP Pavilion F1703 17" LCD Monitor
A resitor line has failed and you cannot fix it, once they fail thats it ,its there for good. Its same as dead pixels on a monitor, except this is a whole line of pixels, if you hit the area above the line hard it will probably go away but will come back sometime, learn to live with it or buy a new monitor.
