The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Canon ZoomBrowser or any other photo cataloging program.

You have to download the software in order to view the videos. The disc that came with the camera has the software, open the file and click on "Setup" to load the software onto your computer.

I need the software for my iriver so i can put more music onto it. Its an iriver ifp-790 256mb

Hi,

Iriver doesnt give any specialised software for copying songs into it..
To copy songs into the player just connect it to the computer and your player would be detected as a portable music player or Mass storage device, in bith the cases you can find your device int the My computer,
Navigate to My computer open the newly added device and copy the required songs into it and you can enjoy listening it..

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance
Thanks for using FiXya

I have no idea how to put music on my iRiver IFP-790 mp3 player

First, you should have MP3 music files on your computer. If not, download what you like or "rip" from a CD using Media player or similar application.

Then simply connect your MP3 player to a USB port on your computer. It is very likely that if you remove a cover on the player it will expose a USB connection. Plug it into your USB port on your computer. It will automatically be recognized by Windows and you can see the contents. Navigate to the music on your computer, click to copy it and then paste it onto your MP3 player. Voila, it will be there to play!

Canon Not recongized by Computer

Try to change the USB connection type in the camera menu. There are several types like Mass storage, Pict. bridge, and the one you need is most likely PTP. Anyway, try all of those and maybe it will work. That is the most common problem when connecting cameras to Vista based systems.

Memory stick

Have you actually loaded them to the computer then loaded them back onto the stick? Cameras cant read images very often when loaded back from the computer- because they changed image type from EXIF[camera] to JPEG normal computer image file. This should not prevent you getting the printed however.
