Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

I have a Pyrox Vulcan wall heater that frequently stops - displaying "F1 1 ERR". Many technicians have looked at the unit, the most recent has changed a capacitor (which one I don't know but I assume it was related to the fan motor), the first tech just said is was human error and that I don't know how to operate the unit. I am considering replacing the 3 yr old unit with another brand, as the support for this one is virtually non existant.

SOURCE: Vulcan gas wall furnace keeps

No idea what the problem is but - We have a manual vulcan gas wall furnace about 3yrs old and it has always been switching off since installed which is a real bummer on cold days. We had it checked out whilst under warranty but the technician did not fix the problem. Im not sure if it has anything to do with the gas supply but seems more of a product fault. Lucky weve got a combustion stove as well!

SOURCE: Pyrox Vulcan Wall Furnace 2

Hello
The error code f 12 is a flame fail code. There could be a few reasons for this.

1 ignitor is bad
2 gas valve faulty
3 gas purge fan faulty

These parts need to be checked before just putting in a new $800 board.I would call a different service person, and advise them to check these items before you spend too much money.

Hope this is helpfull.

Good day!!!!

that problem or error is cause of faulty EEPROM...

This are the solution or instruction...

1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

I have a Pyrox Deluxe Wall Furnace (2011 model) that cuts out every five minutes (it seems). I have both the heat and fan set to the highest setting. I am sitting between it and an electric heater to...

I'm not sure if this is a heat pump or an electric heat unit. If it's a heat pump, it may be low on charge and cycling the low pressure switch. If it's an electric heater it could be limit switches tripping it because of a closed, blocked or improperly mounted discharge flu. It just may be a bird's nest that's blocking it.

Bonaire Vulcan ducted heating system flashes F08 and HC 01. What do I do?

I was able to fix my Pyrox ducted gas heater (flashing between HC01 and F08 by pressing the reset button on the main PCB located in the main heating unit.
The reset button is located next to a set of indicator led's. It's easy to get to by just removing the covering shroud.
