Computer going bad . check the throttle position sensor first to see if good.also check if cable linkagaes are not binding. take to dealer and see if it is on the recall list so they can replace the computer.

sounds like the Idle air control sensor, they sometime can be removed and cleaned, carbon builds up from the fuel burnt from the engine, leaving carbon deposits behind that make the sensor give faulty readings.
Check the fuel pressure when it stops ,could be a faulty fuel pump or even more so a faulty connection plug on the top of the fuel pump gauge sender unit
Had a similar problem with our Mitsibishi Eterna. It turned out to be the Idleing valve, which we got replaced and now its fine. By coincidence, we have, today, traded that in for a Toyota Nadia, wait for it, with a D4 motor!!
