Hi and welcome to FidYa, I am Kelly.

If you would please.. Make sure the rubber fill tube is installed correctly into the ice maker water funnel This sounds like the end of the fill tube is folded over behind the icemaker. (Years of experience and been there done that.)

If this is not the problem and you have water in door, the connections for the ice maker and water in door may be reversed on the water valve solenoids or the plastic hoses are reversed. Test the water in door and see if the water goes into a glass of there is water going into the ice maker when your really want a glass of water.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Ice maker overfills the ice tray, ejecting large block of ice instead of individual cubes.

What is your model number? Sounds like you may need a new icemaker. Sometimes when the icemaker motor goes bad it causes the icemaker to keep filling even though it hasn't kicked out the ice in there. Also, are you sure there isn't 2 valves on the refrigerator?

There may be ice forming in the water chute causing water to spill out of the chute and pour onto the ice in the bucket. Sometimes the water valve has a slow drip or is slow to shut off. the valve may need replacing. I doubt it is the icemaker but it could be.

Ice cube maker does not work what can be the poblem

first of all assure that u are getting water inside of the tray of the ice maker if you have no water then u will want to ceck in the back of the unit down the bottom a blue or white plastic piece this is called the water valve assure that u are getting water through the tube into the icemaker sometimes on some units there willbe a freeze up in the line if this is the case then you would have to defrost the line itself if your unit is getting water and u can feel ice on the inside remove the entire icemaker unit and run hot water to remove all frozen ice then reinstall your doing this becasue sometimes the gear cannot turn becuase it comes out of postion and sometimes this does make the gear go back to normal after u install you would have to wait till your icemaker once again reaches 30 degrees and then it would start making ice again if it doesnt not make ice at this point then u would have to buy a new ice maker cheapest way ton get a new icemaker is through marcone appliance parts and they will ship it to your door hope this helps

Ice maker not working

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. It’s on the back where the water supply comes in. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

All water underneath.ice in the bottom.freezer working.not making

If I understand you correctly your water line that comes through the back wall of the freezer and into the icemaker is frozen. If so you have a bad water valve. When the valve goes bad it will not seal off the water. It will seep causing a slow drip where the water comes out at you icemaker. It'd slow enough to freez causing a ice blockage. This will not allow water to come through and fill your icemaker when it calls for water.

Not getting ice

sounds as if the icemaker is getting too much water and causing the unit to flood out. aside from replacing the icemaker you may be able to adj the amount of water going into the icemaker. there is a screw that holds the front cover of the icemaker inplace. remove the cover and you should see a screw  with a + and - sign on it. try turning the screw 1/4 turn then wait for the icemaker to cycle and see if it improves. keep making theses adjustments until your problem is solved thx peyton
