It sounds like the battery might be faulty. And you may need to get a replacement. Check out your local batteries plus store. www.batteriesplus.com.

Also something to check into is the laptop manufacturer may have a recall on the battery pack for your laptop. Over the past 5 or so years there's been a lot of recalls on them. Virtually all manufacturers were affected. If your laptop battery is part of the recall, you may be entitled to a free replacement. It's worth a shot.

Good Luck,
Mark

Battery is hot, chair won't move

A warm battery after charging is not unusual but a hot battery is probably bad news.

It could be the battery has reached the end of the road through advancing age and natural deterioration. The best sealed lead-acid batteries, if that is the type fitted, is rated to have the capability of about 500 charge/discharge cycles but this is subject to a lot of variables including the type and duration of charging and the temperatures reached, the ambient operating temperature and the applied loads.

It could be a faulty "intelligent" battery charger has run riot and overcharged the battery and caused it to overheat.

If the battery is of advancing age and living on borrowed time it would be as well to replace it but certainly the charging unit should also be checked and possibly replaced.

My htc one mini isn't turning on, But it comes up with the battery sign? What's wrong with the phone?

It sounds like you need to charge it up.the charge icon usually means there is insuffient power to switch on.it may be the battery isn't charging properly I.e. The charger is faulty...the charging point is faulty...or the battery is no longer holding a charge.sometimes if you charge abroad or on say a ship where the amp of the circuit is less the 500 mah the charging behavior changes and it takes a few attempts to get it to behave normally.
another thing you might try is change the charger to a more powerful one just to give it a boost.i.e. Instead of using the normal 5 volt 1amp try a charger with 5volt 2 amps.once the battery reaches at least 5%. It should start up.fully charge and then try to get into the habit of running phone down to 20% and up to 80. % instead of continuously charging each day when the phone is still holding a healthy percentage?only once in while should you run below 5% and then charge to 100% .incidentally most batteries start to lose their stamina after 500 plus charges.

The battery wont charge to 100%.. plus, the battery capacity decreases day by day.. i dont understand cause ive charged it for 3nights wont stop.. but it not reach 100%.. the indicatior also wont change...

The battery could be faulty or the charging circuit is faulty. I suggest you return it to the supplier for repair or replacement as this netbook would still be under warranty.
If you try to repair it yourself you may void your warranty.

Hello.

From your description, your battery is losing its charge and needs to be replaced.

I'm experiencing charging problems with my own system and I noticed that the A/C adapter is very slightly frayed. So, check your A/C adapter as well and be certain that it is charging when you leave your system charging overnight. If you are still experiencing a problem, replace your battery.

Hope this helps.

Wont turn on

After each charge, the battery slightly loses it's capability to hold a charge. You need a new battery.

Batery hang problem

batteries have a charge memory in the, when you purchase a new battery the best thing to do is to fully drain the battery before charging it up, this will tell the battery that it needs full charge, if you charge the battery before this it will only charge the battery to a certain percentage.
what you need to do now is find a way to fully discharge the batteries

kind regards
