Run coby-mediamanager instead. This loads the program on your PC. Use Coby Media Manager to sync files to your player. It does have a big help file with it.

SOURCE: deleted software on coby mp620-8g

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. If you deleted the software on your mp3 player you can still load music files by following the instructions below.

1 Open Windows Media Player.

2 Find and click the Sync tab. This is located at the very top of the program.

3 Plug the Coby mp3 player into one of the USB ports found on your computer. Depending on the exact Coby mp3 player that you own, you can either plug the player directly into the USB port or by using the cord that came with the Coby mp3 player. The name of the Coby mp3 player will appear in the top right corner of Windows Media Player.

4 Click Library. This link will be on the left side of the program.

5 Double-click the Songs option in the middle of the screen.

6 Scroll through the list of music on your computer until you find the songs you want to put on the Coby mp3 player. Right-click on the title of the song and a drop box will appear. Select Add to Sync List. You will then notice the song listed in the column located on the right side of the program.

7 Repeat the previous step until you're finished putting songs on the Coby mp3 player.

8 Click the Start Sync tab located beneath the list of songs you chose in Step 6. Those songs will then be added to your Coby mp3 player.

You can also use the Frequently Ask Questions of Coby. Click Here and you can also download the driver and documentation here. Just make sure you select the make and model of your MP3 player

Thanks for using Fixya.

SOURCE: Windows not Recognizing COBY MP705-8G

Make sure you have plugged your Coby MP3 player into a USB 2.0 port. The Coby does not support the USB 1.0 standard. If you are getting an error that "This device can perform faster..." your port is an older USB type. I have both types on my computer and the Coby would not install until I plugged it into my 2.0 port.

Hope this helps.

Dont know how to work text

The text feature doesn't allow you to text someone like you would a phone. It's for text documents from your computer. Like if I were to type "Happy Birthday" in Notepad or Word I could then save that document onto my Coby and view it from there.

I cant text on the coby 8gb touch mp3 player

MP3 players can only read text files, you cannot type text directly into the MP3 player.
When new they do not normally have text files stored in them. You need to copy text files to the MP3 player so you can read them on your MP3 player.

How do I read the manual text on the Coby MPS

Hello,

Most manuals on the player, as well on the Coby support page, are in pdf format.
These files can be read with Adobe Reader.
Download and install the reader, to see the information about your media player with next link:
http://get.adobe.com/reader/

For support from Coby go online to cobyusa.com in internet explorer: enter cobyusa.com in the address bar on the internet page.
Next enter your player, in the Product Search bar: for example
MP610 or MP601, whatever your model is, to see all support from
the manufacturer.

Cant send text messages.

there is a feature you can get that blocks the sending and receiving of text messages. go to the menu, settings and tools, my account (it will open your internet browser. Don't worry, standard data fees do not apply when accessing your account.) enter the password you set at the activation of your phone, scroll down to features, scroll down some more until you see "my features" if that has text/video block then that's your problem. you can disable this feature, and you should be able to get and send texts. if this does not work then take your phone down to the AT&T store and ask them.

Hot add videos to coby mp3

  • you just have to download them in videos off of limewire and when you put it on, enter it in the file VIDEO, not TEXT or the other ones
  • then you just transfer the video to the MP3 player and it should take about 3 mintues or around there to get on to the MP3 player
  • then you just watch it in the video catagorey.
