Press and Hold the power button on your PS3 when turning it on
after three beeps let go
your TV should now display have reset itself to a failsafe resolution (480i or 576i)
set it up from there to the recommended resolution

if this is the first time you've hooked it up via HDMI then you have to go back to the old cables first. Hook those up to the old TV or the new one, then go to settings and switch to HDMI. It will give you 30 seconds to change the plugs again so you can view the HDMI. Then select ok. Hope this helps

Welcome to fixya! here's the thing with this no signal issue on your TV hooked up on an HDMI try to double check physical conenction and make sure your on the right input, say for ezample if it is hooked on HDMI 1 input should be set as well on HDMI 1.
