I'm going to install this stereo in my jeep. It's not going in where the factory radio was. So I need to know what the wiring diagram is for that model radio. I already know the speaker wires, power & ground. Is the yellow the memory wire? And there are 2 more wires. Just to the right of the power wire there are 2 brown wires, one has black hash marks on it, the other has a blue line that runs the full length of the brown wire. And can I run the yellow and red wires direct to battery power, fused of coarse. Please let me know. Thanks Gene [email protected]
Don't worry about the brown wires. They are for telephone mute.
The yellow is Memory (constant 12 volt, so battery is fine), but the red should go to a 12 volt source that turns on and off with the key.
