Check the drain hose for any kinks in it,is it a top load or a front load washer and how old is it?the pump could be blocked with something or the tranny is bad.if it's a top load, set the timer on spin cycle, open the lid, start the spin and with a screw driver push down on the lid switch and see how the machine is spinning,if it's not spinning fast the tranny is bad.if the drain hose is stuck into a drain pipe pull it out and drain the water to see if the water is draining out good or partially draining, something could be in the pump or to much detergent, the washer can't pump out suds as fast as water then the suds turn back into water form again and the clothes are wet.

Why are clothes/towels still quite wet after going through complete cycle?

Charlotte,
Without knowing the brand, we can only give you an idea of what might be the problem, but it obviously did not get up to the proper speed when spinning the water out since you have very wet close. If you can reply back with the brand and model of your washer, we can help you better.

How can I find out if there is something stuck in the machine. Things still wet after spin.

It could be two problems. Check the hot and cold water inlet valves, it should be completely close at the final spinning cycle. Another thing is water outlet pump it should be run on the spinning cycle. Something might be stuck in the water pump.

Hot water stops filling too soon.

Fill setting has to be adjusted and the belt is slipping on the spin cycle and not generating enough centrifugal force to get the water out.

The washer is not spinning well...Clothes are partly wet when cycle is completely off...it used also to leak at one time where we can see some water when the cycle is complete...

Hello, when the clothes are partly wet when cycle is complete then check these.
1. Motor coupler
2. Spin cycle

MOTOR COUPLER; To test the motor coupler, restart the washer in it's spin cycle, let the machine runs for a minutes and then open the lid and notice if the tub is spinning: if it's spinning when you lift the lid that means the coupler is fine and if it doesn't spin that means you have to replace it.
SPIN CYCLE: If the washer doesn't reach it's proper spin speed, the cloth may be wet at the end of the cycle, check to be if the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again,if the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn or loose belt which you have to replace.
Thanks

Spinning to slow closes still wet

Hi, how are you?

I'm guessing you have a clogged pump and is preventing the machine to go into the final spin cycle. It's very common with these frontloaders.

You just need to take the bottom plate off (3 screws on the bottom) and open the coin trap and clean it out. It should be right in the front. Try that and let me know what happens.

Thanks!

Rinse cycle not complete

Sounds like not spinning.
First check the lid switch.
Manually set the timer for spin and turn it on.
Open and close the lid.
If no spin replace the direct drive coupling on the motor.
About a $30 part.

Kenmore 44152 3.5 high capicity washer will not spin

Open the lid of the washer and let it down gently to see if you hear a click when it closes. There is a lid switch that sometimes fails and prevents the washer from going into a spin cycle. If you don't hear the click when the lid closes, then you may need to have the lid switch replaced.

Roper washer leaves clothes wet after spin cycle.

you need to check the lid switch ...Set the unit to the spin cycle and open the lid look on the right side for the switch there ia a finger on the lid itself that closes to this with the lid open and the unit on use a pen to press in on the switch you should hear a click if not the switch is bad and will need replaced
