I would call a tech in for this, sub zeros are not like regular machines, the freezer and fridge have their own components,it's like two machines in one, whenever i've seen the vac condenser it's ussually a freon leak in the fridge evap coil so i would have to think you could have a freon leak in the freezer section, usually the bottom copper loop rots out, your talking about a machine that costs almost 10,000 dollars or more,if it is a leak i think you're covered for the first 12 years on the sealed system, you can do a few checks, look at the door gasket, does it have any rips or does it look damaged in any way, also i've seen the light switch stick and the lights stay on when the door is closed and heats up the freezer, open the freezer door and push the door switches in and out and see if the lights go out,but other than that i would call a tech in to repair your sub zero,i know if you do have a leak in the system it's could be close to a grand or more to repair and you need all the tools to do the repair.

sorry i couldn't help you out more, when they made the machine computerized it's tricky to work on,i'm hoping for you that it's just a thermistor or something that isn't to expensive,if it didn't have a computer board in it i'm sure we could have figured out what's going on with it,i think there's like 4 to 6 thermistors in this machine and each one feeds info to the computer board, there's just to much going on to pinpoint the problem, also keep cleaning the coil up top, very important, the way i do it is i have a shop vac,i vac off as much dust and lint that i can then i cover the opening with a towel, stick the vac on blow, and blow through the right side of the coil first with the fan unplgged, lift the towel and vac up what came out and do that till you don't see that much stuff blowing off, then go to the side with the compressors and blow through the hole where the fan is and vac up anything that blew out, this way the towel keeps alot of the dust in the cabinet instead of blowing into your kitchen and in your face but you have to blow through the coil just vacing it isn't good enough.good luck with your machine,i think they are the best fridge out there but when they go down it can get a little expensive.

Subzero freezer works refrigerator lights off and not cooling

You probably have a bad light switch.it's the one on the left up top. If you look closely you can still read the temperature in the display to tell if it's cooling.

Sub zero 532. freezer works fine --0 degrees. fridge wont get below 50 degrees. cleaned condenser fins- still no decrease in temp

check the fan that runs between the freezer and the fridge --check fan for ice blockage -debris-or damage / clean or clear blockage --if not running test wiring and connections as well as motor /repair or replace //also check fan damper is not frozen or blocked its flap that opens and closes for air to flow //----ur fridge side is cooled from the the freezer side the cold air is blown in from the freezer if fan or damper is not working correctly than fridge is usually warm and freezer is working properly

Gladiator ref is not cooling properly

Check to see if there is cold air coming from the freezer to the refridgerator side through the vent holes The compressor maybe getting weak or the freon charge maybe low. Does the unit run a long time before it shuts off? 50 degrees is not cold enough for a freezer. You should be around 32 or less.

Frezer working fine but fridge not cooling

Mo, open the freezer door and look for the model tag. There should be a manufacture date on the tag. The product has a 2 year complete warranty, 5year parts and labor on the sealed system and 5-12 years parts only. The factory number is 800-222-7820 and maybe able to tell you when it was installed, They may walk you through a couple of items to tell you what was happening.

Fridge side not cooling, Freezer side is....

(After trying FixYa and paying for the premium service -- during which error codes were not even discussed) I called a service tech. Turns out it was the fan above the fridge side (which explains why the freezer was still working fine) that was "humming" but not always spinning. A quck swap of the fan and we were back in business.

FYI -- The SubZero tech said it was very uncommon for the fans to go bad.
