Is the fan running in the back compressor area?If not check voltage at the fan if there replace fan motor.[Condenser motor] Is the fan running in the frezer compartment if not check for voltage at that motor if voltage there replace motor[Evap motor] Is their frost on the frezer back wall,in side the frezer compartment? if yes its a defrost problem.Use volt meter to check continuty on heater and term.thermostat [It must becold below 20 degrees to check term thermo.if those 2 ok its defrost timer
Open the freezer compartment and listen for the fan motor if you don't hear it but you can hear the compressor running. youll need to first make sure that the door switch is working( If the lights go off when you press the button it should be okay). You'll need to remove the back panel and inspect the coils if frosted over evenly and the fan still is not working give the fan a little push. if it will not go, you need to see if it has voltage if so, replace the fan. If no check the defrost terminator which only on amanas will keep the fan off. In this case replace the defrost terminator(it look about like 5 quarters, with 2 wires clipped through the evaprator coils in back of freezer.

is your compressor run? is the fan working? cleaning can damage only if it break parts... but if all is correct and you didnt damage the gas in the pipes... the problem is in your frezer unit and you need to check the back wall inside your frezer to see if the fan working and the defrost is eave... contact me at www.911servicetoday.com
be carefull when you remove the panel inside the frezer it may be you have a build up of ice and the panel could get frozen to the ice, best idea is to turn off the fridge/frezer for 24hrs to let it thaw
It is constantly running because the thermostat in your refrigerator registers a warm temperature that never reaches target. Your refrigerator's cooling is dependant on your freezer - obviously your evaporator fan is working since your freezer is cooling, however that cool air is, for some reason not reaching your fridge - Make sure the vents are not blocked or plugged with ice - If applicable also check the damper, maybe the flap is not opening at all, letting cool air in.
Also check door seals and make sure te light switches off by pressing the door contact button.
Heat exchanger was iced over, took a hair dryer and melted ice. I think defrost heater element is bad will check it this week end. I put a new computer in the frige about 3 mounths ago and will check if it has gone bad. The compressor is working fine.
If you have determined that the evaporator fan in back of the freezer compartment is running, then you might have a stuck or broken air diffuser. The diffuser acts like a damper to divert air into the refrigerator compartment. Sometimes they jam or break due to frost buildup.
