Pry it off carefully with a small flat piece of plastic or metal. Look for some debris underneath. There should also be some mechanism, such as a small spring or metal "X" to push the key back up, it may not be connected or snapped in properly.

Z key on my m5030 came off how do i fix it

Laptop keys are a real pain in the glutes. If you look carefully they are usually just a small scissor arrangement and can be reassembled with care. I don't do them myself as I shake too much(and have fingers like sausages) Have a go, it will only go one way or the other. Good luck.

HP laptop keys not working

You can help isolate the problem by plugging in an external keyboard,. If the problem is not there on the external but present ( at the same time) on the internal then you will need to disassemble the laptop and look at the HP part number on the underside of the keyboard and order one from ebay etc.. make sure its the exact part number as many look identical but the cables dont line up.

The enter key of my laptop sudden stopping working?

I would try getting some compressed air. Sometimes called canned air.

Delete key, dash key and six key does not work on Sony Vaio laptop

Usually this is due to a hardware problem with the keyboard. 98% of the time by replacing the keyboard you'll fix the problem.

You could also try reinserting the data cable from the keyboard to the motherboard.

It can sometimes get a tiny tiny bit loose and cause problems like this.

Be VERY careful when you remove the plastic tab that holds the keyboard data cable in place. They are EXTREMELY easy to damage.

I know I've messed up plenty myself

:-P

Best of luck!

How to refix key of hp 530

you may try to put it back again by try it but it seems not work since you post uyour question here.

here is some risk.
Download the product manual from the hp support site.
read the instruction how to remove your laptops keyboard, after remove fix it, and reinstall it again.

but it pretty risky because i suggest you may want to do it with people who had experience with it.
but my first time i do it myself there was no problem at all. just follow the manual instruction.

The keys U I O P J K L M / ; 0 do not type what they are supposed to. how can i fix this myself? i have no money to pay anyone. need the cheapest way possible.

I would assume that it types numbers instead. That means that the Num lock on the laptop is on. Look for it on the keyboard you might have to use the FN key then another key to turn off the Num lock.

The laptop keys are fixed to keyboard by two tiny plastic joint.
If you have lost or broken the plastic joints you may need to buy a spare keyboard or the single keys
Here is explained in detail with pictures how to replace keys.
