Question about HP Officejet 6310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

We are getting a error message on my HP Office Jet 6310xi All in One printer saying: Cartridge error, Cartridfe on left must be repplaced. but we already replaced it...

Pull the cartridge out and check the bottom, if it has a gob of ink it will do this. get a paper towel

and some alcohol, preferably denatured alcohol, put some of the alcohol on the paper towel.

get the cartridge and press down on the alcohol towel , press lightly several times until the bottom of

the cartridge is clean, don,t rub across it. the area is very delicate. once clean set the cartridge aside

and let it dry off for at least ten minutes. once dry, re-insert the cartridge, your printer will reset

itself and go back to normal. good luck!

My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.


If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

I have a HP Office jet 7310 all-in-one. Printing stopped and an error message that says remove and check cartridge on right. I did, but the error message won't go away. What can I do?


Cold reboot. Disconnect all wires and cables after shutting down as much as possible, leave disconnected from power and computer for 3 minutes then follow OEM instructions for hook-up and restart

Printer cartridge has a problem message


Did you maks sure it is the orginal cartridge, Because the cartridge sensor will not detect any unoriginal ones.

For the HP 6310xi printer I almost always get a solid cartridge error-replace cartridge message after printing only a few (about 20-25)pages. Is there someway the cartridge can be reset on these remfg...


Ok well Rmfrg cartriges tend to have that problem . And no there is no way to reset the cartridge it has something to do with the print head electronics.

Error message says check color cartrigdge even


You did take the protective film off the new cartridge, correct?, could also be the contacts that recognize the cartridge ae dirty, also, try unplugging the power cord on the printer and plug back in to reset

Are you sure you installed the ink cartridges correctly? They should snap in and then you should be able to do a Printer Test/Align cartridges function. 
Which error message is it putting out?

I recently purchased a HP Pavilion computer with Windows Vista. I am trying to install my HP Office Jet 6310XI printer and I am receiving a message that the printer is not compatable with the computer


Your printer driver probably isn't compatible with Windows Vista. I would check the HP website and see if they have an updated driver for your printer.

Please first check whether there is paper jam in the printer roller or else please check the cartridges is fixed properly
