SOURCE: No picture on my Philips HDTV
possibly you have hit the vga button on the remote by accident. if you have, the red lite blinks and the picture goes off after a second or two. Hit the TV (not the power) button and be sure not to hit the vga accidentally.

SOURCE: RED LIGHT BLINKS SEVEN TIMES
The most likely problem are two failed capacitors on the main board in the center of the TV The failed parts are easy to identify as the top of the cap will no longer be flat but will have bulged up. DO NOT attempt to remove the back of the TV unless you know what you are doing.
soldering on a circuit board will be required to fix this problem.

The power board numbers you need to search for on eBay is 310432847531 or 310432838621 - they are compatible according to Philips.
