Question about HP f1905 19" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Screen remains black and flashing blue light on power button

I've tried to reconnect everything but right now I can only go on the internet from work because the flashing blue light just stays there and the screen remains black. It's been like this for a few days now, we used to have problems beforebut managed to get them fixed.

Polaroid TV screen will not always come on.

Are you talking monitor rather than tv? I have an LG 22 inch monitor and the on off button is on the bottom, If I don't hit it right or just tap it, it won't turn off but flashes. Where do you have it plugged in? Is it with some other electronics, or right to the wall outlet? I'm really at a loss as to what your problem really is. Are you using the remote? One quick fix might be the battery's in the remote. If they don't have enough power, short or no signal will be sent to tv or not being able to decipher it.

Hp pavilion ze1210 intermittently boots up or will not turn on at all.

ok it's a laptop., old.
let me guess 2003 made, square 4:5 screen
XP removed, (smart idea) Linux installed.
I guess the screen is 100% dead, not one pixel ever glows, right?
no text, ,no BIOS screens on demand, (esc key pressed, power on)

1: step 1 is always remove the main big battery. run now?
2: try external VGA screen yet, to see if the old internal screen is dead? see that VGA jack on the rear, and the hot function key that turns it on, bingo.?
(use a flash light to see if screen internal has data but the
CCFL back lamp is dead.?)
4: if bios is dead and both screens fail, what is next.?
19vdc from the power pack must reach the guts (MOBO)
if not all HP lap tops die. use a voltmeter or get a spare power pack
many power packs this old are now bad. 14 years old,
the can be good, bad, or weak. weak is bad.
5: sparks is a bad thing, in all cases, when heard it needs service.

Nothing but the blue ring lights up

ok..idk if this will work but it might...first turn off the sansa...then turn the hold switch on (it should turn red). hold down the record button on the side of the player..then while still holding that hold the power button down...but keep holding them untill a screen shows up saying something about recovory mode..itll say to plug in the usb..u could do that..idk it that will it doesnt instead of plugging in tthe usb in the computer..wait about 15 seconds after the recovory mode screen shows up and then hold down the power button for about 15-20 sec...then itll go all black (including the blue light) press the power button again like u would to turn it on...and everything should be back to normal..hope this helps...:)

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out:
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.
