Hi, I have a HP 7500A Wide format All-In-One E910 network printer, scanner, fax... It was working just fine until I unplugged it to move it over 2 feet. I did not bump anything or drop it! :-( Now, on the machine, all I get is a blue screen with white printing showing 83C00009. I have unplugged and replugged. I have run all the diagnostics on the HP site. I have unplugged and turned off the modem, computer, etc. I have followed all the instructions that I can find anywhere and nothing is working. What else can I do to fix this? Please help!!!!

SOURCE: HP PSC 2210xi all-in-one won't print....Please HELP!

I had a problem downloading HP psc 2210 software from the internet after a reinstall of winxp. One of the device drivers was not completing its installation. HP support provide a troubleshoot process to fix the problem. This process is manual but did complete the installation of the device driver. The printer is working.

Tried what blkghost suggested above but had to tweak his advice slightly.

Turn off power to the printer and unplug it from the back of the printer.

Insert the power cord back into the printer. You will hear some clicks and motors moving. Pull out the cord again when this happens.

Open the cartridge bay by pulling the face forward and lifting the bay door up. The cartridge carousel most likely will not come to the center.

trying physically pulling the carousel to the middle. (NOT BY THE RIBBON CABLE) If you can not pull it to the middle push it far right as possible. Listen for a click.

After pushing to the right and hearing a click you should then be able to pull the carousel towards the middle easily. Remove the ink cartridges and power up the printer again.

You will receive an error along the lines of black cartridge missing. Open the bay, insert the cartridges, close the bay.

YAY problem fixed.

You have a formatter issue (motherboard) on the printer. Sounds like you took a surge possably through your telephone line.

Here's a couple things to try and re-initialize the machine.

Soft Reset: Press "Menu", then press * and # simultaniously to enter the developer menu section. Press the "> or < until until REINTFFS is displayed on the second line of the display. Press the "Check button". The machine will go through a series of checks and flash different things. About 2 to 2.5 minutes later the machine will return to ready.

If that doesn't fix it, here's the next more aggressive reset but caution as this will reset all your settings and you will have to reset up everything (language, phone numbers, country code etc..) after using.

Super NVRAM Ret:

Turn off machine, Press and hold down * and 5 while turning on machine. Continue hold down throughout the power up sequence. When PERMANENT STORAGE INT is deplayed on the display, release the buttons. When prompted, set the language and telecom region.

To set the language and telecomm region, the machine will prompt for them when they have been erased. Simply use the > or < until its correct for your language and then press the "check" button. Same process for the region. Once both have been set the machine should come to READY.

If neither of the above works, you will need a professional tech to resolve the issue and possably replace the formatter board.

Though i have no paper jam, it keeps on prompting Clear paper jam then touch ok. Also notice the carriage not moving from right to left ,its making a weird noise.seem paper feeder gear stuck but clear

How do I attach a hard copy to an email- HP Officejet 7500 E910


scan it to a file
Find program called hpscan in your list of all programs to scan to file.
This is usually what it is called with hp scanners
Note the directory that the file is scanned and saved to .
and then attach file to email message using attach file option on email program when you compose email message.

Please , you mean tif , anyway you can save to JPG then convert it by any other software , but i think scanner does support like your file ,

Empty carriage stuck in my HP 7500A printer

Your carriage got stuck in service station,is there any noise coming from the right side of printer then there will be broken gear.
Power on your printer,after you got carriage jam error open cartridge access door and wait 5 second when you see that gears trying to move,use your hand to pull your carriage to left side.Don't use much force.If your carriage got free then install your print head and cartridges.If this will happen again then take it to service center they will change the service station or broken gear but the cost goes much high.
