Question about Cradlepoint Inc WIRELESS N PORTABLE ROUTER802.11 B/G/N SPI NA - CTR35

Open Question

Everything has worked fine since I bought it a couple weeks ago. This morning however it is as if the USB port that the air card is plugged into is dead. None of the l.e.d. lights on the air card light up when it is plugged in and the router doesn't recognize anything as being plugged in. I have two routers and two air cards and neither of the air cards work on the router in question but both of them do work on the other router which isolates the problem to the router itself. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the keyboard and mouse on anothe system. if it works fine the on board PS2 port is most likely bad. Buy a USB keyboard and mouse in plalace of the PS2 keybaord and mouse or change the motherbord. If the keyboard and mouse is bad replace with a good one.

Is it possible that you didn't drain the air out of it after you used it a couple of weeks ago? If the pressure in the tank is somewhere around 100psi, the compressor won't run until it drops lower. If there is no pressure in the tank you might see if you can wiggle the pressure lever that makes the switch move to turn on the motor - it might be stuck.

Yeah sound like the Mass Airflow sensor (MAF). This is one of those items you really shouldn't get at a junk yard.

Problem with USB Flash

It is possible the memory stick is faulty. Are you using xp or vista? If so it should be recognised instantly. I bought one the same a couple of weeks ago, and it recognised it instantly, and I'm using xp.

Try it on another computer if possible, even where you purchased it. Just tell them you think it's faulty. If it works on that computer then you have a problem with either your usb ports or you have a virus.

The answer is probably down to the usb port, they don't always like change, because you are trying to swap hardware in same port, they tend to want to stay with one or the other peice of hardware. If you have'nt got another spare USB port, which i assume you have'nt, invest in a 2 or 4 port USB hub(But make sure it's powered by a AC power lead and not just a usb powered hub, because some hardware will not be recognised e.g I Pods), this connects into your usb port and gives you 2 or 4 port more to use, and you won't need drivers for it. They are inexpensive and you simply plug it in. I think this will solve it for you
