V210 Internal Wireless not working?

I installed the latest OS that is provided by ViewSonic. After installation, my internal wireless card is not detected. I do know that the intenal mini pci card is a ZCOM XG-602MB card. I'm certain that the driver is not installed and I cannot find a driver for it. ViewSonic has not answered any of my support requests.

I have seen where many other people are experiencing this same issue, but no resolution is posted. Can you help?

Ok guys, I had the same problem. However after a week of frustration I can across the problem that worked for me. These wireless V210 use B/G wireless communication this will only work with some routers check your router settings and make sure you pick the B/G signal reset your V210 try connecting to your wireless network. I have two of these and it worked for me. also you can flash to old NK.bin file and it will still work. Hope this helps. DB

Welcome to fixya

you might be able to update the driver through the devie manger find the wireless card and right click it and hit update driver this might fix the problem if not

there is a place that might be able to help it is call driverupdates.org this program they have is free to download but you have to pay for the drivers to be installed might be worth it

i would try device manger first

goto start and search for device manger once you find it there wil be a list of items in your computer find the wireless modem and then right click it and hit update drivers and it might take a while but still should update it if needed

hope this helps you out have a good day

I cant connect to internet but i installed the necessary driver

To connect to the Internet you need a few extra things aswell as a network card.
1. You need to sign up with an Internet service provider.
2. Connect a LAN cable from your computer to the DSL or cable modem
3. You need a DSL or cable modem and connect and configure the modem to inaccordance with your Internet service provider's instructions.
4. Install Internet Explorer if it has not been done.
5. If everything has been done correctly, when you open Internet Explorer youcan access the Internet. If you have a wireless router and it is connected to the DSLor cable modem then -
To connect to yourwireless router, the router needs its wireless settings to be configuredwith the SSID, encryption key etc., also the wireless cards in all thelaptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

Tablet PC "seeing" networks, but not connecting

The first thing I would do is install is a PCMCIA wireless card. If you are able to log in to your network with the PCMCIA wireless card, I would be leaning towards replacing your internal wireless card.
Hope that helps.....

Can I use my ATT air card with my Toshiba Portege M200 tablet pc?

I have owned several tablet PC's and all of them (including my most recent Toshiba) worked just fine with the existing wi-fi card. Please be clear, however, that AT&T wireless air card service and "wi-fi" are two different things.
Your AT&T card pulls internet service over cellular connections, and your wi-fi card connects to a local hot spot (if available) or your own wireless internet access.
First of all, be sure that you have an active AT&T laptop connect account and then follow these steps:
Power on your laptop. Insert the AT&T wireless air card into an available USB slot. Wait a few moments (this may take several minutes some times), and the card will typically start attempting to install itself and its software. If you have any trouble with this, ATT provides free installation tech-support at the following site:
http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/solutions/wireless-laptop/modem-cards.jsp

You may also have them contact you at your convenience by going to this page and filling out the form:
https://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/b2b/contact_us.jsp?wtLinkName=ContactATT&wtLinkLoc=RN

Hope this helps!

Fujitsu Internal Wireless card on Tablet ST4121 not working

the internal wireless card is very likely to be soldered on the board and then you probably cannot swap it by yourself, you can buy an external one(like an expresscard one) ore have the one on-board swapped by Fujitsu(with or without warranty coverage.)
please rate.
