Bootmgr missing lenovo s10

Some Malware or Virus has destroyed your file table. (Master File Table) Yes there is a mirror (or backup); the bootmgr is for meaning boot manager, and that is MFT or Master File Table and its mirror (the backup) With out this file {and possibly MBR = Master Boot Record} the computer cannot find anything. Its like if you have a 5 story mansion and you know where everything is at, then a tornado comes, you\'ll need the MBR or list, to find what was once there to put it back in order. But I would try first to restore your system by rebooting and then pusihing F8 repeatedly, then trying the Last known configuration option, then if that dont do it, then reboot again then hit F8 and choose safe mode then go to start --- all programs --- accessories ---- then system tools then click on the sysetm restore. Choose a point before the problem started. It will (should anyways) restore any problems. But be sure to scan your drives after you get back in the order with the freeware: spybot 2, superantispyware and malware bytes.

press the power up key and then very quickly press the alt+F10 keys both at the same time
this hopefully will take you into the factory restore options
then follow the onscreen instructions

it may ask for a password and if you have not set one for the restore then try 000000 that is 6 zero,s

Cannot restore backup Quickbooks onto new laptop

  1. If your backup file is not on your hard disk or in a network folder, insert the CD, USB flash drive, or other storage device in the appropriate drive.
  2. In QuickBooks, go to the File menu and click Open or Restore Company to open the restore wizard.
  3. Click Restore a backup copy (.qbb) and then click Next.
  4. Click Local backup and then click Next. The Open Backup Copy window opens.
  5. If needed, click the Look in drop-down arrow and navigate to the location where you saved the backup file, which has a .qbb file extension (for example, mycompanyname.qbb).
  6. Select the backup file and click Open.
  7. Click Next.
  8. If needed, click the Save in drop-down arrow and navigate to the location where you want to restore the backup file.
  9. Select the backup file, click Save, and respond to any
  10. (Optional) If you're rebuilding your QuickBooks environment, moving your files to a new computer, or need to overwrite all existing files (including changes made since the backups was created),

Restoring files from the database

I suggest you use the Enterprise manager (gui tool to manage SQL).
Restoring a single table is not an option.
You can however restore a file or filegroup.
Make sure to backup before you start and NOT to restore database to its original name or original file location, to avoid acidents.
Normally you will have databases with only 2 files: the data at its Primary file group, and log file.
You may wish to create a new file group and move tables to the new group by recreating them there and exporting data from old table to new table. Then recreate indexes. This may prove to be complex as all tables and indexes have unique names and can't coexist with exact duplicate of them.

oh yea..... did I say backup?
well just in case backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup backup
but dont overwrite that backup
