just call the servise provider or the network provider to activate gprs or edge. ask for settings and they will provide you. save the settings in your phone . activate the right settings and use it . hope your problem is solved. happy surfing.
Go to your nearest cell phone carrier store and ask them to take a look... They will be able to fix the problem in a flash... The old motorola razors made in 2007 had this problem... If your phone wasn't made in around that time it might be a lemon... Take it in to the store to find out though.
If you are unable to access the internet, it is an issue with internet access. If you are able to access the internet, it is an issue with the picture message settings internally with your service provider.
The internet is necessary for a picture message because the picture is an attachment on the text message. The attachment/picture is downloaded via the internet and without the internet, it cannot be downloaded.
