Hi, there
Since your unit has a CD player, the problem with both the turntable and cassette deck is probably due to the rubber belts that turn both mechanisms losing elasticity or have broken over time (or in the worst case scenario, turned to goo). I don't know your model manufacturer, but turntables often have a clip, or some sort of apparatus, that you can remove to lift the turntable platter up and off. If you can do that, you will be able to see what shape the turntable belt is in. For the cassette deck, more intricate disassembly is required. Replacement belts for both can often be found on eBay or other online sources.I found a video for an ion turntable that might have a similar belt system.
Go online to a radio codes website that do Blaupunkt models, have the serial number handy, punch in the full radio details and for a few bucks you can get the codes. Has nobody written them in the owners handbooks ? Sometimes you get a sticker with the code on when new to stick somewhere safe?
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Peugeot service centre and get them to enter this code for you.
that is not true. you can add a ground loop isolators to all the rca fittings going into the amps. plus do not run you power and remote wires on the same side as your rca and speaker wires. if rca wire are cheaper style the will pickup noise from the power and or remote leads .
Your question appears under the Blaupunkt Hamburg MP57, but the text says your actual receiver is the Blaupunkt Casablanca MP54. In either case, you can download the manual from the best car audio site in existence, www.crutchfield.com.
Just scroll down and click on the link for "Download owners manual" on the left. Crutchfield shows the Casablanca as a discontinued model but the PDF is still available.
