Do put a couple of glasses of water in the tub close the door and push cancel. This will keep the seals depending on some models from overheating and seizing. Do this a couple of times then select a short wash cyc and ensure no water leaking. Resume as normal

It is 6 mos old and it leaves the dishes dirty and with a white film on everything. I used jet dry, cascade with no results. what would cause this? it has done this since day one. thanks

Hi,

The scum, film and white residue problems have started since the reduction of phosphates in dishwasher detergents.

Here is a tip that will help you to solve the problem of films, residue, and scum in your dishwasher.

Chainsaw strarts OK but stalls

Most likely fuel "Air" problem.
Old fuel can and will gunk up the air flow jets.
Would suggest cleaning the carb and filters.
Then replace with good fuel mixture and start again. :)
Make sure the choke is set correctly and the air filters are clean.
Had a lawn mower that would NEVER crank correctly after sitting idle for the winter. Had to dis-assembly the carb and clean literally with paper clip and tooth brush. Never once had to change the spark plug or wires. After spring cleaning (LOL) it would usually crank on the 2nd pull.

Good luck!

I have mold in my dishwasher. This happened about 6 mos ago and I used the vinegar and scrub method to get rid of it...it was a pain in the fanny! Now the mold is back...the dishwasher has also not been...

Get rid of the mold - Pour about 2 cups of bleach in the dishwasher with about 1 cup of salt, and a gallon of cold water, use the light wash, not heated. Make sure when you start the cycle it doesn't drain first or you lose the bleach. Also I don't use jet dry in my dishwasher, I use bleach in place of jet dry and I've never had a mold problem. Good Luck and let me know if this helps. Thank You
