I changed the bulb and the power lights wont come on

Certain Mitsubishi projectors have a built in bulb life timer, and are programmed to not allow a projector to power on unless the bulb is replaced and the bulb life timer is reset. Its a simple process:

1) Make sure your projector is plugged in.
2) Make sure the main power switch is on.
3) Hold the left arrow, right arrow, and power button on the control panel of the projector (not remote) for 3-5 seconds.
4) Release...

This will reset the bulb life timer to 0000 and allow for normal power up barring any other unforeseen issues.

The light on my front left headlight is out and i would like to know how to replace the bulb. It is a 1994 Fird Thunderbird LX.

Pull the 10mm bolt that holds in the expansion tank/washer reservoir. Move it out of the way. Twist the lock ring that holds the bulb in and pull the bulb out. When installing the new bulb be careful not to touch it. It's a halogen bulb and the oil on your fingers can damage it bu creating a hot spot and drastically diminishing its life.

Reach beind the headlight and just unscrew the cap that holds it in. However don't touch the new bulb with your bare fingers or you will drastically shorten the life of the bulb.

on my XU 55 the trick to read the lamp hours is to press and hold down the power button in about 20 seconds when the projector is turned on. there will come a window in the upper left corner that tells about total hours and lamp hours. the window will disappear quite fast, so one might need to do it twice.

Accessing left lowbeam light to replace connectors

Most head light bulbs are easily accessible from the rear, inside the engine compartment. Sometimes it is easier to move the battery for better access. Remember not to touch the bulb as it will greatly reduce it's life.

Usually turn black retainer over bulb to left half turn or so and it should unlock & come off. Then wiggle bulb out of back of housing. If it's halogen, which it probably is like a # H9004 or similar number, make sure when you put it back in, you don't touch the glass bulb part, it will shorten the life of the bulb. The housing will have a notch to match the bulb base. Push it back in with notch lined up & wiggle it while you do, it makes it easier. It should pop into place with O ring seal of bulb all the way in. Then put retainer back on, turn right half turn until it locks, and push your connector back on over bulb base, and push in until it clicks in. You may want to rub a little vaseline on the new O ring of new bulb to make it easier to push in. Hope that helps.

I used a GE Helical 13w 12oVAC 60Hz 200mA FLE13HT3/3/SW bulb for the top light in my fridge and it only lasted for about 3 to 4 months. Is this do to the cold in the fridge or maybe the door being opened...

You should use a standard 40 watt appliance bulb (usually clear). The life of compact florescent bulbs is greatly shortened by turning it on and off frequently. They work best being left on for 15 minutes or longer. Cold temperatures can also shorten bulb life as well.
