Hi..
Unfortunatly your restore files may be corrupt,so you might have to go for a format and a complete fresh install..

Hope this helps...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Need help with error 0x80070002

sounds like a registry error, you can try a system recovery to when this error was not coming up. Presumably your PC RUNS MORE SLOWLY THAN IT USED TO. Try downloading a program such as CC cleaner, which is a mild registry cleaner and let it have a go at clearing the error. Remember to BACKUP YOUR PRE CLEANUP FILE SYSTEM TO A FLASH DRIVE OR SUCH.
You can do this if you do not want to perform a system recovery.
Good Luck

Probably cause: The Windows Registry is corrupt.

1. Try to set back a recent but older Recovery Point from the System Recovery.
2. If it does not help, set back an older Recovery Point from the System Recovery.
3. If that does not help, Restore a System Back-up (I hope you made a back-up).

ERROR 1002

This error can occur during a system recovery, and choosing the backup option to an external hard drive. The recovery might stop responding, and an Error 1002 message displays. To resolve the error, follow these steps:
  1. After the error message displays, turn off the computer.
  2. Disconnect the external hard disk drive. The backup is still useable.
  3. To continue the system recovery, restart the computer.
  4. Press F11 repeatedly at startup.
  5. Select Advanced Options , and then select System Recovery .
  6. When given the choice, choose to continue without a backup.
  7. After system recovery is complete, restore files from the external hard disk drive.

Can not get the Recovery Disks to restore my system,

Ok. What you have here is:

1. A bad Hard Drive.
2. A so corrupted files due to several factors including the possible hard drive failure.

Try to remove it from the pc and mount it on another one as a secondary hard drive or better as a slave (you can find a way to do it on the web, explanation is too long). Or, get your self a Hard Drive External Enclosure and mounted on it and connected to another pc as ay External Hard Drive (to me, the external enclosure is the best choice since you can use them for different hard drives and is just a swap out procedure, pretty simple). Either way you do it, if your pc can load it up, run check disk utility for it. That, for the most part, should fix some files to let you access it and do a back up. If I was you and if you succesfully save all the stuff you want to save, I would reinstall the Operative System from scratch. If it fails to install or gives you problems after the fresh install, get a new Hard Drive. Good luck.

P.S.: If my explanation helped you, please leave a review.
