It sounds like firefox is not supported, so you will need to use Internet Explorer for this task. Be sure the program is updated, as IE also handles security functions....

A solution for your question about accessing websites and getting an unsupported browser error is the following:

1. At the top of your Mozilla Firefox browser window, please click HELP and ABOUT MOZILLA FIREFOX.
2. Today, the latest version is 3.6.16; please make sure you have the latest version.
3. Next, please run the Plug In Checker: and update you plug in's if outdated ones are found.

I hope this helps and resolves the browser issue.

Can't access pages on FAFSA APPLICATION web browser not supporting applicaton

Change your internet browser to Internet Explorer. Every site there is recognizes Internet Explorer. You can also try Mozilla Firefox, but after that you run the risk of having the problem you are having.

Opera and Google Chrome are good browsers too, but there are still a lot of sites that don't recognize them.

I can't open up certain websites

What web-sites?

Are you using your school's network to access the Internet?
Are you using your employer's network to access the Internet?

The school/employer may have installed "filtering" software.

Do you have the problem on ONE computer at ONE location,
or MANY computers at the SAME location,
or when accessing from your HOME computer?

Any website i go to it tells me the browser is not supporting the site. what can i do help!

What browser are you working on? If it is unsupported by your Operating System then it can show these types of problems. However, you can go for updating your browser version or can use different browser because there are lots of browsers available. If still it does not solve the problem, then check your computer's settings whether your browsers are configured to access the internet or not.

I cannot login to facebook.

Is this the only site that you can't logon to? You might also want to consider where you are accessing it from, like office network or school. There are times that sites like this is being blocked by the network admins specially in work places or schools.

If you are in a place where you were able to access this site before, like at home. Then you might wanna start checking your firewall. Temporarily disable it and see if it will help. You might wanna use a different browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer to tell whether it's a browser issue.

You can also clear cache and cookies on your browser. Let me know if any of these will help or not.
