Question about Kyocera Office Equipment & Supplies

My Kyocera FS-1030D (duplex) has just started making spidery deposits of toner on the blank side of printed output. It means I can only print one sheet at a time because on a continuous run the loose toner on the back of each sheet spoils the printed face of the following copy. I thought it was a toner cartridge fault so just bought a new genuine Kyocera unit but absolutely no difference. It's like there's toner dribbling out somewhere. The machine is 4 years old, used regularly and, according to the Status Page, has printed 39k copies. Have I just wasted my money on a new toner??!

    Thank you very much. Have just followed those directions then tried a duplex booklet print of the manual. There was still toner spoilage for the first dozen copies but it gradually cleared up. Hopefully it's sorted! I really appreciate both the clear advice and the link - I didn't have a full manual.

You have not wasted your money on the new toner purchase. With a little maintenance, it can last a lifetime.

The "spidery deposits of toner" you are talking about could be caused by a dirty charger wire under the process unit. You mentioned that you just changed the toner cartridge, right? Did you remove the process unit and clean the charger wire under it after you changed the toner? The charger wire has to be cleaned with charger cleaner every time the toner container is replaced.

Do you have the manual which came with your printer? If so, then go to page 39 to find information on printer cleaning tasks. If you have not cleaned the charger wire, dust out the printer with a lint free dry cloth and change it when it looks soiled. Continue dusting and wiping until there is no dust on the cloth. Then remove the process unit (picture on page 39) and wipe out the area with a new lint free cloth until no dust is apparent on it.

Slide the green charger wire cleaner back and forth across the wire as instructed on page 43 of your manual. Reinsert the process unit.

The only other thing that can cause the problem with toner marks is if the registration roller is soiled with toner. Refer to page 18 for instructions on checking and fixing it.

Constant paper jams

find some hard paper like trancparency plastic paper or some hard type paper leke certeficate printing paper and by opening the tray out and push the paper till u see it out around the touner cartirage place after doing so replace the tray and the toner cartirage hop the printer do not paper!!!

How do i print envelopes on a kyocera ecosys FS-1300d

Just a suggestion but in the application you are using, make sure the "Page Setup" is set to the envelope you need and the source for the envelope is correct.

Also, check the driver settings to make sure they match what the application needs.

Printer was printing OK then 4th red light started flashing and it stopped printing why?

4th light is for toner ......... replace the toner and check...........

please select print in both side options when u giving any print then only it will print both side...

Kyocera fs-1030d wont print frames on MSWORD2000

wrong... the kyocera only prints what you send to it... you need to go into your print settings and make the adjustments so it can print frames borders/ shadings... this has been my experience with explorer and photoshop... not very much fun but necessary...

My printer prints dust particles with the print ducument

Before your printer prints a page a small blade runs across the toner drum to clean it before the next page is printed. If the blade is broken or not functioning then you will get some toner particles on your paper. So you need to get it repaired at the local computer and repair shop. Remember it's just the blade so if they try and add some other stuff tell them no, just fix the blade...Good Luck and let me know if you have any questions. Kyocera Mita FS-1030D Laser Bottom 2 lights blinking.

I think the two lights flashing together indicates waste toner box missing or full but as this printer doesn't have a waste bottle I assume it means the processing unit (ie the drum bit) needs replacing.
