You can transport a laptop and use it anywhere you want, but for reliable internet access when away from home then you will need to find public wifi. This comes in the form of either free public hotspots, such as at McDonalds and Starbucks, or secured wifi which is provided along with another service, such as at a hotel. In order to use any of these services, you need to have a wifi enabled laptop and the correct credentials to connect to the network. For free hotspots such as McDonalds, you don't need any other details other than to select the correct network from the list of available networks and connect. For hotel wifi and the like, you will most likely need a password or key to access the wifi, which is usually provided to you upon request.

Don't forget that laptops existed long before wifi, and that browsing the internet and reading emails isn't the only thing computers were built for!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Does my toshiba 1805-s207 have a wifi card

Well, by definition, a WiFi card would be a card that allows you to connect your laptop to other WiFi certified devices, and most laptops have that ability, so my answer would be yes. You can check on the bottom of the laptop, and, usually, there will be a sticker located somewhere that says WiFi.
Although, for some reason, I have a feeling that by WiFi you mean a mobile broadband card, with allows you to have internet access by using cellular towers, for a certain price a month. Usually, if you get a laptop with one of these in it, the retailer will definitely let you know (and probably try to get you to sign into a contract). I know that some people get those to mixed up sometimes (don't know if you did or not), so I wanted to cover all bases.
So, these are the two answers I could come up with.

Interer wireless adapter is missed

I'm not clear on what you mean when you say wireless adapter is 'missed'. Do you mean you think the adapter is MISSING?

If you have a Transport X1000, you should have the internal wireless adapter. However, it may simply be turned OFF.
To turn on your wireless, just press the Fn and F2 keys at the same time.

Hi it say on my laptop 'this file doesnot have a programme associated with it for performing this action' can you help? its an archos 705 wifi

This means that WIndows or whatever OS you have does not know what mother prog to use to run this file. If you know what prog is used to run that file, then right click on the file name and select Open With. You get a dialogue box giving a number of progs that may be used to open that file. If you do not find the prog name in the list then go to browse and locate that prog and select and also mark the box to indicate that in future also you want this prog to open that and similar files.

I am wondering if there is a way to use an ADSL PC connection to use programs on my ASUS P320. Or does it require using a WiFi connection? Perhaps using Actice Sync?

ADSL is a means for transporting data, however it is considered to be at the first physical layer of a 7 layer computer model. Think of it as a Transport only method.

..programs ( works at the 7th layer the application layer is the 7th layer....So, what happens is that the data you wish to send out of your software program on your computer travels down through the layers and goes out to the internet on the physical layer...Your programs can be transfered to the computer (not by ADSL) but by a USB port ..via a USB cable or wireless depending on the interface you have on your PDA.

The bottom line is that ADSL simply transfers packets at high speed and does not support running of software....I hope this helps you...BBill01
