I have a Beam Central Vacuum cleaner. I can't dislodge a piece of mulch from the rug attachment, and the motor won't turn on.

Don't know which power head you have, but if there is a base plate, take it off, you should be able to get to the debris from there. If not, remove the screws from the bottom and remove the top. Some also have a cover over the brush roll, remove it and then you can get to the brush roll and inlet. It stalled the brush roll, that is why the motor won't turn. Some have a reset on the back of the power head and it most likely tripped, just push it back in.

I transported my newly given to me by my dad tristar from Fl to LA and I can't get the reset button to start the power. The vacuum comes on, but the rug attachment is not spinning I can't get

If the rug attachment is not spinning, it is likely the drive belt has come off. Also, the entire intake area probably needs to be cleaned.

If the vacuum cleaner starts, the reset button has nothing to do with why the attachment doesn't spin.

How do i hook up my upholster cleaner

The parts needed for upholstery cleaning should be in the attachment box. First remove the rug nozzle (or hose) , from the motor unit. Next remove the entire bag assembly - grip the lower housing and turn it counterclockwise to remove. The attachment hose can now be placed on the motor outlet. Look for a small arrow on the hose connector and line it up with the small "bump" on the metal fan housing, and turn it clockwise to install. The air intake guard is placed on the front in place of the rug head. Turn the motor on to blow dust out of the hose and fan chamber prior to placing the spray gun on the end of the hose. Be sure to put the small "suds screen" on the nozzle of the spray gun to produce foam. Place the foam onto the area to be cleaned, and massage it into the fabric with a sponge or towel. Allow it to dry thoroughly before vacuuming it out.

How to clean sebo rug brush

there's a button lock on the top of the nozzle and the bottom of the vacuum where they meet. That should release the carpet nozzle from the vacuum cleaner easily.. you may have to jiggle it to get it loose, but there's a button lock mechanism that holds it in place

I have a Beam Rugmaster Plus power head Model BM1 393 Type AB and the connection were the metal pipe meets the plastic swivel broke close to the unit. It appears like a manufacture defect in that is broke...

This is most likely repairable. Lots of the Beam parts are available. I would recommend checking out any local vacuum shop or searching online for a central vacuum store that sells beam products.

I need a new hose for my Electrolux central vac

Do you need a new powerhead too or only the hose? If you need a new powerhead than I would recommend looking at the Imperium Pro Elite Attachment set. It is an excellent quality powerhead and hose. If you only need a new hose than you will need to contact the Aerus because they will be probably be the only company who can sell you a hose that wil be compatible with your powerhead. Their website is http://www.aerusonline.com/products/

Beam Central Vac Breaker Pops
Posted by tinateggart1 on Jul 17, 2008
The breaker on our beam model 167 central vac popped while in use. Every time I try and restart it, it immediately pops again. What's the problem? Circuit board? Motor? Overheating?
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Chances are it is the relay switch on the inside of the Beam Central Vac, if it was a motor, it would not turn on @ all. If it was a circuit board, it may or may not be turned on, but if it will turn on and then pop your circuit breaker than it probably is the relay switch. Please, check with your local Beam vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or contact the Beam website or cust serv @ the phone number listed below. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Central vacuum motor. Posted by knise on Jun 29, 2008 Circuit breaker attached to a board inside the vacuum shroud “clicks" rather than motor starting?
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. It sounds to me like you have a bad replay switch on the inside of the Electrolux Central Vacuum and it needs replacing. They are not too bad as per the cost if you are mechanically able but B4 you attempt to do that I would have it checked by a local vacuum cleaner central vacuum service tech just in case. I will give you the website and the factory phone number for the Electrolux listed below. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The Beam Central Vac may have more than a one year factory warranty and it sounds to me that you may have a bad relay switch the Central Vac, if you do it should be covered under the factory warranty. Otherwise, you may have a bad supervalves or a wire came loose, if the hose switch turns on the power nozzle then it may be a bad supervalve or a bad relay and to contact the installer or the manufacturer of Beam. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
