Check all your inputs to make sure what your trying to watch is connected to the inputs that are currently being used by the display....example, if cable is hooked up to HDMI1, make sure HDMI1 is selected to watch cable. Good luck.

How do I get my LCD monitor to display my computer correctly

This happens when you're trying to run the laptop screen and the TV at the same time. It's caused because the laptop screen and the TV are different resolutions. Very few laptops can run two different screen resolutions at the same time.

The TC-L32X1 supports a fixed range of resolutions. These are listed on page 24 of the user manual http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/TC-L32X1?t=manuals&support#tabs The resolutions are [4:3] 640x480 and 1024x768, and [16:9] 800x480, 1280x768, 1366x768. I would recommend either 1366 x 768 or 1280x768.

What you do next is set the laptop so that it runs the TV only. It's slightly different between brands, but they all use a combination of the "Fn" key and maybe F4, or F5 or F8 or one of the function keys that has the monitor symbol. Press the Fn and the appropriate function key at the same time. The displays will cycle: laptop only -> laptop + TV -> TV only -> laptop only.

Once just the TV is getting a picture, you can use the laptop's graphics tab to change the resolution if the laptop hasn't already done this for you. This does vary depending on the operating system and the video card software. Try right clicking on the background image on the desktop and see if there's a short cut to the Graphics Properties.

Hope this helps

My laptop in side vga conector avlable i want conect laptop to tv so how to conect

First make sure that all your video drivers are updated....if the TV is failrly new and you are running Windows 7, there won't be any issues. Vista maybe alright but XP may gives you headaches, but it still will work if the video drivers are up to date. Attach the VGA cable to the TV and then your laptop. In most cases the software will pickup on the TV and install it as a generic monitor but the newer operating systems will name it whatever brand TV it is. Now, right click on an empty area of the desktop and go to either "Properties" or "Graphics Properties", it depends on the operating system and graphics software. Now look for the "Display Settings" text. Look through the choices until you find the "multiple display" settings. Here you can choose whether to run the displays in a "cloned" manner or extend the display from the laptop to the tv, thus making one very wide display area, or you can flip the displays, so that the tv will be the primary and the laptop screen will be the extended area. etc. Once the display is showing up on the screen, you can also change it by using the "Fn" key in combination the an "F" key on the upper portion of the keyboard. These "F" or function keys are different on every laptop and maker but look for the button that has the icons of two monitors, this is the function key that will toggle through all the video choices available to you.

You need to go into the display settings of your computer once the cable is connected and change it to a dual-monitor setup. I'm going to assume you have windows 98/xp, you can find the display settings in your control panel under the title of "display". it'll be under the last tab of the window called "settings".

Keep it in mind, in reality there are a ton of ways to run two monitors. Chances are the one that your going to find easily is to "extend" your desktop onto your tv, making them both run as one screen. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you (you'll probably find it extremely annoying). Also, some video players wont let you play videos on your TV because their worried that your going to copy the video onto vhs.

The display on your tv will be blurry with s-video, and you wont be able to read text easily (hd-tvs are different if your video card is new enough to use the hd-tvs features, and/or your hd-tv can run computer displays. You can purchase a computer monitor to hd-tv cable online or at computer stores) but videos and pictures will look good. And if you have problems and you accidentally switch your display to the tv and your monitor is off, turn off the computer and unplug the s-video, it should go back to normal although it may happen if you put the s-vid cable back into the pc.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have lots of experience doing this.

Can't get rid of the Video Labels... ~

We put the tv on channel 3 then ran coax cable from the direct tv box to the tv and the display disappeared. The s-video cable was run from video 1 on the cable box to the video 1 on the tv. So he left the s-video there but by putting the tv on channel 3 and running the coax it fixed the problem.
