Its probably not the belt,rather the idler tensioner pulley that keeps the drum belt taught to turn the drum,replace both as long as you have to tear it down anyway part numbers are belt AP4324040 / tensioner idler pulley AP2043227 available from appliance parts pros 1-877-477-7278
