Its the mainboard in the rear thats bad,it comes from a light bulb burning out a shorted fan motor in the condenser or evaporator area of the unit, another sign of this boards being bad is if the digital readout is dark or not illuminated, before replacing this board, make sure all fan motors are good or you will destroy the new replacement board they replace easily by unplugging a few harness wires 1 screw and pressing in on 3 plastic standoff insulators part # is G.E.WR55X10942 cost $100.00 and up

My refrigerator turns on and off i hear clicking sound.the compressor dont stops and then after a few seconds it runs again

my parents have a ge refridgerator tfx27e that is not cooling as of this morning. we had repair place out and they said the compressor is bad. per his words, he tested it and said electric is going to the compressor, but when it tries to turn on, something inside is stopping it so it won't run, needs new compressor.

the issue is, this is in a custom kitchen and the fridge has wood paneling on the front and matches everything nicely. i'm afraid a new fridge will never work with the panels made for this one?

it it worth fixing? i'm also pretty handy, but the repair guy said it's a 5 hour job. advice?

2005 Tucson. Good battery. Blinking lights in

Is the battery new or just charged. the battery could be the problem. Check the cables for corrosion or loose connections. The cables can corrode inside the insulation near the battery this can be seen by swollen cables.

Don't start smooth

restarting of refridgerator may damage your compressor motor due to overload.

when you switch off the refridgerator the compressor is in load condition, sudden restart overload the motor, it consume more current so the light going to dim.

solution. If your refridgerator have no delay circuit inside,
use a refridgerator stabilizer or attach a delay circuit,
if you have the the restart delay circuit may problem repair it.
