The machine is battery operated and has two speeds forward and two reverse with four contactors linking the power through twe resistors for regulating the current. All the contacts were in a bad state and though I removed them and replaced them in sequence I got it wrong. The poeple who bought the intellectual property from the liquidator have removed any iinformation from their site and I think I have a big ask. bernard knowles.

Your request has been here a long time and this makes ne feel bad. For me to try to give you a solution please let me know the following.
1) Is this a battery operated stacker?
2) If not, is it single phase or 3 phase?
3) What selects it to go up and down?
4) Is it a motor driving a hydraulic pump for a hydraulic actuator?
5) Or is it an electric operated winch type lift?

Come back to me and I will try work out a solution for you.

Hi Bernard, I had a problem getting back into this thread, lets hope you get this. I am going to have to take this in stages and it may take a little time to get sorted out - in a question and answer exchange. First, you need to reverse the polarity to the motor for your forward and reverse. For this you need a double pole contactor with an off position. The wires from the battery is split and a positive and a negative is taken to each of the fixed terminals. Thus the polarity to the movable contact can be reversed. You mentioned resistors and elsewhere a four pole motor for speed control, can you elaborate on that for me please. Please be patient, I may only be able to get back to you in about 24 hours time ( it is 19.30 here).

My super sherpa has somehow been shorted out and I

Yes it has a main fuse, look for the starter solenoid, follow your positive battery wire from the Battery, it will hook to this solenoid or relay, this is where the main fuse is, it should have a red cover.

I need a throttle wiring diagram for s320 w140

You will never get that wireharnes working properly again. it is a common problem for that era. There are companies that rebuild the pig tail connecter on the e.a actuater(throttle). Engine wireharnes is probably in need of replacement as well. The insulation for that era of german vehicle is meant to decompose and be enviromentally safe. They have since changed there polidies. I hate to say it but your wasting your time trying to rebuild that harness. Just either sublet your actuater for repair or replace it. subletting is alot cheaper

Radio code

I had the same prob. you will have to take it back to dealer to get a new code. Can be expensive. Shop around for a fiesta radio / 6 CD stacker unit already with a code. Mines out of a '98 fiesta into my '85 Bronco ! Stacker unit fits under passengers seat, cable back to dash via under carpet. Mine was cheaper to buy (from a wreckers) and install my self than the dealers costs to get the new code for an old unit. on-line wiring diagrams avalible.

Cheers !
