The Logitech V10 speakers are USB attached so, click on "start", then "control panel", Find and right click on"device manager", open and click on continue. Click on the box with + next to Human Interface Devices. Your speakers should show up here. Do you see a warning ?, !, or yellow triangel? If so click on taht and follow proceedure. Right click on your device and you should see "disale". If you see "enable" click on that and exit. If your spaekers require an update, I recommend getting it from Logitech. My levono C460 system sound is off so no sound what can i do?

Hi
3 possible solutions:-
• Adjust the Windows volume control - select the speaker icon from the Settings Charm or click the arrow on taskbar to show the hidden icons in Windows desktop mode, then click the speaker icon. Ensure that the volume is turned up and the sound is not muted. Adjust the volume, bass, or treble controls to eliminate distortion.
• Reinstall the audio driver.
• Disconnect any headphones from the headphone connector - sound from the speakers is automatically disabled when headphones are connected to the computer's side-panel headphone connector.

I also give a link below to a page from which you can download the full manual for future reference.

Can not locate sound for my speakers

Hi Marvette,

Not sure what your problem(s) is. Your speakers will be activated if they are plugged into the speaker port. The sounds are used by all software on your system.

Is the speaker in the lower right corner turned off? A red X will be on. Click the speaker and click the speaker and it will go off.

Go to the Control Panel \ All Control Panel Items \ Sound icon.
There are three [4] tabs, Playback / Recording / Sounds, fourth does not matter for sounds.

That will show all sounds that widows uses.

HTH's. Describe the problem more if not.

The sound does not work

Hi,
I can definitely help you on your question. Let's troubleshoot. First, please click the speaker icon on the System Tray. Check if the mute has a check. Or if you don't see any speaker icon. Please go to the Control Panel. Go to start and click Control Panel, then search for Sounds. A new window will show up, you can see in that window the speaker icon. Please click the icon and a new window will appear again. Now go to Level Tab, please check if the small speaker icon has a no sign and the level of the volume is on the right side. If there is a no sign just click it to remove it, if there's none. Please go back to the Control Panel, and go to Systems. Once you are on the Systems, click the Device Manager link that is on the left top side of the page. Now you can see all the hardware of your computer. If you see a yellow exclamation point under the category of Sound,Video and Game Controllers, there is a problem but you don't need to panic. All you have to do is right click on the item that has a yellow exclamation point and select Update Driver Software. Then a new window will show up, click the first option and that is Search automatically for updated driver software. Now, it should work. If the sound still doesn't work, you need to buy a new sound card for your computer.
I hope I helped you in your question.
Thank you!!

No sound

1. Are your speakers turned on and plugged into the correct jack on your sound card?

2. Is your sound card recognized by your OS?
In Windows, press the Windows Key+Pause/Break to bring up the System Properties page.
CLICK on the Hardware tab, then Device Manager.
Is there a yellow exclamation point under the "Sound, video and game controllers" subheading? If so, you will need to either install/reinstall the sound card's driver or resolve a device conflict. Walk through the options on the device's Properties page.

3. If your speakers are on and your sound card is working properly (as reported by Device Manager), it could simply be that your sound is muted. Open the Control panel (Start>Control Panel)
Open the "Sounds and Multimedia" icon.
Verify the "Show volume control on the taskbar" checkbox is checked. If this option is not available or is grayed out, see below.
If you were able to check this box, click ok and close out of this window and the Control Panel.
Double-click the sound icon in the systray and verify that all the sound volumes are mid-way or higher.

4. If Windows thinks your Sound card is working properly, your speakers are on and turned up and Windows' software volume control is turned up, go back to Device Manager and Highlight your Sound Card. Press the Delete key on your keyboard and confirm that you do indeed want to remove this device.

Reboot. If your Sound card is functional, Windows will redetect it and offer to install the drivers for it. You may need your original Windows CD to complete this step.
