Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines

1 Answer

I have an older whirlpool washing machine model # LSQ9659PW4. The damn thing fills up with water to start and then stops working after that. I think it could be the lid switch but I am having a hard time locating one for this make and model, give me a shout if you can help me out

Yes this sounds like the lid switch if needed you can take a jumper wire and stick one end into position 1 and the other in postion 3 on the connector which would cause you to jump past the lid switch this is a temporary repair if your looking for the switch itself goto www.marcone.com under contact us there is a 1800 number if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick

Whirlpool duet washer fills with water (maybe overfills) then stops and the wash light flashes an 8 then 1 type sequence

Hello, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem. We would recommend having a certified technician out to take a look at the Washer and give the appliance a proper diagnosis. If you would like further assistance you can send your name, phone number, address, model/serial number and the date of which you purchased the Washer to Whirlpool_Reviews@Whirlpool.com.
