You can disconnect the vent tube and run a load of clothes, as it maybe a restricted vent. You will need to write the error code down as it may say AD(air dry) or E1(Thermistor open) ,etc. Hope this helped Tim

Whirlpool Imperial Series Dryer is Not Drying But Has Heat

Make sure it's blowing air out the vent outside. But even though it's heating doesn't mean it's heating 100 percent so u might need a heating element. Not to expensive to buy and often not to hard to change, refer to owners Manuel or a computer on how to change it.

NOT DRYER CLOTHS LIKE IT USE TO TAKING MUCH LONGER

Check for clogs in the vent air line. If dryer lint or some obstruction is slowing the air flow it will take longer to dry clothes. Also the dryer may not be getting hot enough. Check to see if the clothes feel hot or warm when you reach inside. If it feels hot enough it is likely an issue with air flow. heat and air flow are required to dry clothes.

My dryer runs and gets hot but cloths don't dry.

Your problem may be attributed to a clogged exhaust system (e.g.: clogged inside the dryer's vent, flexible vent behind dryer clogged and/or clogged inside wall, etc.).

Dyer really hot, not drying clothes

Is the dryer tumbling? If not, you may have a broken belt or some other drive assembly issue.

Also, turn the dryer on and go outside to the vent discharge - you should feel air coming out at a pretty good clip. If not, the vent line is obstructed and will need to be cleaned out.

We have a Whirlpool Dryer Duet. The Dryer will stop even though the clothes are not dried. It then gives us a code E1. What does that code mean? The dryer is 7 years old.

CHeck you oners manual. It should say the error codes. I believe its located on the back of the bottom panel cover. If not there, take the top panel off. Two screws on the back corner and then slide it back and lift it out the way. Check inside around the side panel. Not sure what code that may be but the manuel should be able to tell you. hopefully this helps

Bosch Dryer doesn't dry clothes

With the dryer not connect to the external venting turn the dryer on and see if there is air coming out ot the vent from the dryer. Is this flow of air strong or weak?
If weak then there could be a problem inside the dryer some where. Perhaps the fan is not operating properly. Just my thoughts.

You say you have check the beginning and end of the duck vent pipe. How about seeing if it venting duct is clear from one end to the other.

Good luck

okay this is a easy problem, your dryer is clogged, check your vent hose and make sure it is not kinked, also check your vent duct from wall to outside...What is happening is your heat and lint is not going outside but it is going back into your dryer, causing your dryer to get extremely hot....

Dryer does not dry clothes

On the top of the heater box there is a thermal fuse that blows if the dryer overheats, on this model it could occur if the air circulation fan is faulty, or the condenser valve is faulty, alternatively the sump hose filter may be blocked, only a closer inspection of these items will determin which the problem is.
