Question about Computers & Internet
When I start my computer, monitor starts with green light but with in a second or two it turns read and screen remains black. Prior to this it was working fine and my CMOS battery was dead so giving me checksum4 error. So I had just replaced the battery and then started the computer but now it no longer works....please help......Ashish
There is no problem with ur system board.
Actually you are getting this problem because of Monitor problem.
The possible cause would be:
1. Your data cable connecting your board failed.
2. The display IC of your monitor failed.
3. If you have Video card then remove video card and try connecting data cable to monitor port other than ur video card.
most probably u are dealing this problem due to failure of ur display IC.
Troubleshoot first by connecting other monitor with ur system if available.
