The Directv codes for my Samsung HT-TZ512 surround sound/dvd player don't work. How can I program my Directv remote to control the dvd player? The codes I've tried are 20490, 20573, 20820, 21075 and 20899....

sometimes directv remotes do not work with surround dvd players. Try doing an automatic code search . Most of the time it will only allow you to power the dvd player and operate the volume.

Samsung HT-TWZ312 surround sound probs

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!
